Condition: fair overall. Not dated, but a dedication by a previous owner on the inside front cover is dated 1941. The pages are not numbered. The grey paper-covered boards are decorated with an oval paper vignette portrait of Jesus to front cover. The covers are marked and stained, as is the brown and purple cloth-covered spine. The corners and edges are rubbed, spots to the spine page edges and light spotting to pages in book. It contains full page black & white illustrations, and a six amazing full-colour double-page pop-up scenes: The Escape into Eqypt, Boyhood in Nazareth, Fishing in Galilee, The Sermon on the Mount, The Last Supper, and Christ risen from the Tomb. The pop-ups are in a clean condition, with some minor tears but are beautifully constructed in bright colours. The illustrator is Eileen M. Watts.
