edges have open tears. The book is cloth bound with a slight pale stain to the
lower area of the spine. The book is in good condition with slight foxing to
the page edges.

This book for children contains two stories by the Russian
writer Alexander Ivanovich Kuprin. It has been translated from Russian by Musia
Renbourn.

It has one full-page colour illustration with black and
white drawings throughout. The dust jacket shows a delightful illustration of
an elephant and a poodle.
