Both volumes 1827. A beautiful set of the great Irish poet/musician's complete works; held at major research universities in both the US & UK, but very scarce on the market. Contemporary Fine Binding: green leather spine and tips over marbled paper-covered boards, . "Lalla Rookh" in Volume I is designated the Third Edition. Clean text; 539 pages and 587 pages, with Notes and a two-page poem: "The Slave. Written at the Time of the Duke of York's Death." Volume One contains "Lalla Rookh," Moore's extremely popular Oriental romance.
Volumes boards rubbed and worn with age, but in not in to bad condition. Pages clean and tight, some cracking of front board on first volume. Inscription at top of index page of volume one.
