Product description

The memoirs of Eugenia Ginzburg, who described her memoirs as 'this cruel journey of the soul.' Ginzburg was falsely accused of terorrism during Stalin's purges and made to fell tress in a hard labour camp. This second volume opens as she is saved from certain death that would have ensued and sent to work as a prison nurse.

Printed in 1989, the cover displays signs of use, with a creased spine, yet the pages remain in tact with signs of fading.
