In this collection there is a book about the Commonwealth Games stamps that were issued in Canada in 1994 that took place in Victoria in Canada. It is a book of 8 pages. It details a brief history of the Commonwealth Games that took place in Canada. It briefly explains some of the cultural traditions of Victoria in Canada. The book describes the city of Victoria and its surrounding countryside. The book describes the triumph of the personal achievements that the athletes gain while being able to participant in the Commonwealth Games. The book in a cellophane cover shows the full set of Commonwealth Games from Canada. All the stamps in the book have been unused, although they are not neatly presented. There are two copies of each stamp. The pictures on the stamps in this book show the high jump, wheelchair racing, indoor cycling around a Velodrome, bowling and diving. On the inside of the back cover there are white and brown stamps that are neatly presents in a cellophane covering. There are photos in the book of vintage sports equipment, famous athletes who had taken part in the Commonwealth Games in previous years, the natural world of Victoria, the beautiful sights of Victoria, and photos of some of the sports that were taking place at the Commonwealth Games. The book is written in both English and French. Along with the book included in this pack of sports there are 57 individual stamps. The countries that these 57 stamps were issued in are Australia, Ajman State, New Zealand, North Korea, Great Britain, Finland, Afghanistan, Germany, Antigua, Hungary, Guinea Ecuatorial, Ireland, Jamaica, Bulgaria and Canada. The sports events that are celebrated in this collection of stamps are the Empire Games and the Commonwealth Games, the Rugby World Cup, the Football World Cup, the Ryder Golf Cup Tournament, the Winter Olympic Games, the Summer Olympic Games, and the International Lightning Class Championships for Sailing. The sports shown on the stamps in this collection of the 57 stamps are hang-gliding, fencing, football, fun running, kayaking and canoeing, skateboarding, netball, white water rafting, sailboarding, diving, dance, fishing, horse racing, cycling, golf, running over hurdles, tenpin bowling, bobsleigh, cross country skiing, ice hockey, downhill skiing, mountain biking, squash, beach cricket, tenpin bowling, ski boarding, life guard swimming, kite flying, skiing, shooting, rock climbing, snorkelling, and tennis. One of the stamps shows the National Stadium of Jamaica. The oldest stamp in this collection was issued in 1953. The newest stamp in this collection was issued in 2011. The decades that the stamps in this collection were issued in are the 1950s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. Some of the stamps are unused. Some of the stamps are a little folded. Some of the stamps stills have a little of the envelope they were originally attached to still visible. Some of the stamps have a clearly shown printed postmark on them. A couple of the stamps are a little faded. Overall the stamps in this pack are in good condition
