This is a collection of 42 stamps. The countries the stamps were issued in are Rwanda, Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Germany, Gambia, the Seychelles, Mali, Mozambique, Ghana, the Gold Coast and Angola. The oldest stamp in this collection was issued in 1927. The newest stamp in this collection was issued in 1980. The decades that the stamps were issued in are the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980. The pictures on the stamps celebrate the Centenary of the Vatican and show Pope Paul, Pope Pie and Pope Jean. The pictures on the stamps celebrate the centenary of Jacob Daniel du Totius, the African Postal Union, the US Bicentenary, Gambian Independence, and the Silver Wedding of King George 6th. The pictures on the stamps show a map of the Gold Coast in Africa showing the position of the Gold Coast, a Map of Mozambique, a Map of Angola, a military decoration of South Africa, the Airmail Flag of South Africa, the City Coat of Arms of Portuguesa in Mozambique, , the Coat of Arms of Mali, the Sphinx, President Siaka Stevens, President Fouche, Vervoerd, King Farouk, the Inauguration of President Kenyatta, Martin Luther, C.L.Leipoldt, King Furad, Amilcar Cabral a Guinea Bissau Freedom Fighter, Emily Hobhouse, King George 6th, Nersevestiging Van Die Geioflte, a coal mine, a Springbok, a Sailing Ship, and the Handicrafts of Ghana. Some of the stamps are unused. Some of the stamps are a little delicate. Some of the stamps have a postal printmark on them. A couple of the stamps have a little of the envelope that they were attached to still on the back. Overall the condition of the stamps in this collection are good.
